A 29 year old male reports that on November 29, 2010 at approximately 2030 hours, he was in the area of Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue East when he was approached by a male suspect.  The suspect grabbed the victim’s Iphone and fled in a waiting vehicle.  The victim attempted to grab the suspect and he was punched in the face.  The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek his own medical attention.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, white, 25-30 years, 6’1”, medium build.

A 20 year old female reports that on November 29, 2010 at approximately 1810 hours, she was on a TTC bus in the area of Markham Road and Ellesmere Road when she was approached by two male suspects.  One suspect attempted to grab the victim’s cell phone and a struggle ensued.  The suspects fled the scene empty handed in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1-#2: Male, black, 18-22 years.

A 21 year old employee of Dairy Queen Restaurant, 1591 Weston Road, reports that on November 29, 2010 at approximately 2040 hours, two male suspects wearing disguises entered the premises.  One suspect produced a gun and made a demand for cash.  The victim did not comply.  The suspects fled the scene empty handed southbound on Weston Road.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1-#2: Male, black, 17-20 years, 5’7”-5’8”, 150-161 pounds, thin build.

A 49 year old male employee of Sak’s Fine Foods,165 Main Street reports that  on November 30, 2010 at approximately 0100 hours two male suspects armed with firearms entered the premises.  One suspect made a demand for cash, the victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.  The victim did not sustain any injuries.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, 5’8”-5’9”, muscular build. Two males, ages 15, report that on November 30, 2010 at approximately 1150 hours, they were in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Islington Avenue when they were approached by a male suspect.  The suspect made a demand for one of the victims’ cellular phones.  The victim refused.  The suspect threatened the victim and fled the scene empty handed in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victims.  Three males, ages 15, report that on the same date at approximately 1225 hours, they were in the same area when they were approached by the same male suspect.  The suspect made a demand for one of the victims’ cellular phones.  The victim complied.  The other two victims asked for the first victim’s cellular phone back and the suspect struck them in the head.  The suspect then fled the scene empty handed in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the first victim.  The last two victims sustained minor injuries but will seek their own medical attention.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, black, 17 to 19 years, 5’9” to 5’11”, muscular build.

A 30 year old male employee of Reegan’s Variety, 1200 York Mills Road, and a 47 year old female report that on November 30, 2010 at approximately 1350 hours, a male suspect armed with a handgun entered the premises.  The suspect made a demand to the female victim for cash and cigarettes.  The female victim complied.  The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victims.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, 25 to 30 years, 6’0” to 6’2”, 180 to 189 pounds, thin build.

A 37 year old female reports that on November 28, 2010 at approximately 2010 hours, she was entering her residence located in the Don Mills Road and Seneca Hill Drive area, when two unknown suspects and one male suspect approached.  One of the suspects produced a handgun and made a demand for her property along with a television that she was carrying.  A struggle ensued and the victim fell to the ground.  The suspects grabbed the victim’s purse, cellular phone and television from her person and fled the scene towards Don Mills Road.   The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek her own medical attention.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspects #1-#2:Black, 20-23 years, 5’7”-5’8”, 155-160 pounds, stocky build, brown eyes.  NO FURTHER DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE.  Suspect #3:Male, black, 19-22 years, 5’4”, 125-130 pounds, thin build.

The suspects removed the victim’s bag, wallet and keys and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not seek medical attention. An eighteen year old male reports that on November 27, 2010 at approximately 1800 hours, he was walking in the area of Jane Street and Dundas Street West when five male suspects approached.  One of the suspects made a demand for the victim’s iPod and the victim refused.  The other suspects beat the victim about the body, searched through his pockets, knocked him to the ground and removed his iPod, cellular phone and head phones.  The victim managed to make good his escape.  The suspects fled the scene towards Jane Street.  The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 16-17 years, 6’1”, 150-180 pounds, medium build, short black afro hair.  Suspect #2:Male, black, 16-18 years, 5’6”-5’7”, medium build, short black afro hair worn in cornrows.  Suspect #3:Male, white, 16-18 years, 5’7”, 140 pounds, thin build, blue eyes, short blond hair.  Suspects #4-#5”Male, black.  NO FURTHER DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE.

On November 27, 2010 at approximately 0235 hours, police were dispatched to the area of Wellington Street West and Blue Jay’s Way regarding a pedestrian struck by a dark grey, Chevrolet, Suburban motor vehicle. Once on scene, the now deceased was found lying down on the north sidewalk of Wellington Street West. Toronto Fire Services and Toronto EMS also attended the scene. The now deceased was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, 20-22 years, short straight, black spiked hair with shaved sides. A 22 year old male reports that on November 28, 2010 at approximately 0330 hours, he got into a cab on Queens Quay East and instructed the driver to take him to Cambridge, Ontario. The suspect drove into a parking lot in the No. 23 Division area and a short time later another cab arrived driven by a second male suspect. The suspects pulled the victim out of the cab and began punching and kicking him. One suspect produced a knife and made a demand for the victim’s cash. The suspects then removed a quantity of cash from the victim’s wallet and attempted to remove a gold chain from around his neck but were unsuccessful. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, south asian, 27-32 years, 5’10”-5’11”, 161-169 pounds, thin build, short straight black hair, hair on chin.  Suspect #2: Male, south asian, 35-40 years, 5’10”-5’11”, 180-200 pounds, medium build, long straight black hair.

YOUNG OFFENDER, 17
Charge(s):   November 28, 2010 – Robbery (Purse Snatch), Threatening Death, Possession Property Obtained by Crime.
Arrested and investigated by Members of No. 33 Division.
On November 28, 2010 at approximately 0344 hours, a 21 year old female victim was in the area of Don Mills Road and Finch Avenue East, when she was approached by a male suspect. The suspect held the victim in a bear hug, threatened her and made a demand for her purse and cellular phone.  A struggle ensued and the suspect punched and kicked the victim. The suspect then fled the scene with the victim’s purse.  No injuries were sustained by the victim. As a result of investigation, the YOUNG OFFENDER was arrested a short distance away. At the time of the arrest, the YOUNG OFFENDER was found to be in possession of the aforementioned property.  Charged accordingly. Full recovery has been made.

Robbery (Delivery Person) - 13 Division
A 41 year old male employee of Triple Triple Pizza and Chicken, 2639 Eglinton Avenue West, reports that on November 20, 2010 at approximately 2216 hours, he was making a delivery to an apartment located in the area of Lotherton Pathway and Caledonia Road, when two male suspects approached him in the hallway. The suspects engaged the victim in a conversation.  The suspects grabbed the victim and pushed him against the wall and made a demand for cash.  The suspects searched the victim’s pockets and removed cash from his person.  The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victim. On November 22, 2010 at approximately 0030 hours, a fire was discovered in an apartment building located in the area of Lakeshore Boulevard West and Brown’s Line.  The Toronto Fire Department, under the direction of District Chief Fairman attended and extinguished the blaze.  The cause of the fire is listed as igniting the accelerator in front of the premises.  No injuries were sustained.  Damage to the building and contents is unknown at this time.
